Scale Broken? Does it REALLY say that number?

Sunday, December 30, 2012

Its the end of 2012... its that time of year when we reflect on our lives and what we hope to accomplish for the next year.

Today I went on the scale. I looked at the number and completely went numb. I am almost 400 lbs. How did this happen? I know why it happened. The poor choices in food... the lack of taking thyroid meds.. the staying on the computer all day instead of being active... barely drinking one glass of water when I should be drinking atleast 8 a day. Not doing what I need to do is the reason I am almost 400 lbs.

Reality has hit me. If I keep going down this road.. I am going to die. Sooner vs later. I am 27 years old.. by 30 if I keep down this road will I be able to walk? I REFUSE to get any higher than this. THIS IS IT. This is the highest weight I will EVER be.

Today is a new beginning. Calorie counting. 8 glasses a water EVERY SINGLE DAY. I can do this. I know I can. I am going to try to meet some new people on Spark to keep me motivated and I will start seeing the number on the scale go down.

Wish me Luck im going to need it!! :)

Drinking water is tough for me too. If you drink it today, I will too! emoticon

Good Luck!! You can do this!! Just start today and don't look back. Keep moving forward one day at a time and remember all you have to do is make one good choice at a time. You are on the right track.
