Just a shout out!

Sunday, December 30, 2012

Awe, I just read all the nice comments that everyone has left me. Thank you so much for all the support. I am still very new to this and a little unclear as to how to respond back to all of you??? I did want to acknowledge that I read and appreciate all the kind words and time you all took to welcome me and encourage me to continue on this new path! emoticon

I am pleased to say that I have already started changing my diet. I have yet to really work out, but I believe I will be dancing for 30 minutes a day. I used to love going out....just to dance and I remember how much I would sweat! Oh, and I was a lot thinner too! hehehehe! So, I think for me, that will be a great start to "moving" this body of mine. Whooo-Hooo!

The best way to make sure that someone gets the message is to post a note on their Spark page -- Spark notifies you when somebody comments there.

Or Sparkmail works, too, but I find that I don't always get notification of a new Sparkmail and so it is sometimes quite a while before I see it, because I don't check it very often.

Some people leave replies in the blog comments, too, but unless a person goes back to reread the blog and comments, they never see the reply.

Another avenue is to give a Goodie and write a note with it. Only the recipient can see the note, while everyone can see the Goodie and who sent it.

A lot of times a blog like you just posted will do the trick unless you have a special comment for someone.

I love to dance too. Dancing is my favourite way to exercise. I was looking at joining a Zumba class in our local community but I think I had better start slowly and maybe just dance at home. I have lots of music and I have walking and dancing dvds so I am going to see how I do with them first. I still plan on joining Zumba but just not yet. i think that maybe the classes would be too much for me at this point and I really don't want to have somebody having to perform CPR on me when I collapse. LOL :) Joining SparkPeople is the best thing I have ever done for myself. Congratulations on your new life. emoticon
