Running after that wagon

Sunday, December 30, 2012

I took a flying leap off the Spark wagon for Christmas week. I did it intentionally. I didn't want to deny myself the cookies, wine, gravy, potatoes and general edible cheer. I have paid the price with two flabby new pounds.

Well, that's over now. I've run to catch that wagon and, having heaved myself back up, it's back to good habits of calorie tracking and a variety of exercise.

This morning, I had fun with a Zumba Wii game that I received for Christmas. Soon, I'll take the dog for a walk. I have a long hike with steep hills planned for New Year's Eve.

I'll be returning those 2 Christmas pounds soon enough. emoticon

I intentionally didn't worry over Christmas either, didn't want that to be a stressor since I tend to get anxious about food when I'm tracking. 2 pounds is not bad for enjoying the holiday, I can gain 2 pounds just having a meal at Chili's!
