JOY THAT CANNOT BE STOLEN
We have all had times of sorrow. Some of us more than others. However, we have all learned that joy follows sorrow. Sorrow doesn’t last forever. We can also know that one day believers will have joy that cannot be stolen. Those who believe in Jesus will one day have joy that will last forever. This joy is far greater than the joy we have on earth. We can look forward to this joy knowing that whatever we suffer here on earth is only temporary because we know Jesus as or personal Savior.
John 16:22 “So you have sorrow now, but I will see you again; then you will rejoice, and no one can rob you of that joy.” (NLT)
Dear Lord, thank You so much for our Savior, Jesus. Thank You so much for the joy You have planned for us that will never, ever go away. We know that we have to suffer here on earth due to sin in our lives and in the lives of others; however, we are grateful for the peace You can give us knowing that our suffering is only temporary. Thank You Lord for the eternal joy You have promised us. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
