I notice a 'pop' in my lower back these days, which does not always hurt per se, but is new, therefore always worrisome. It has to do with poor form, relaxed abdominal muscles, and using weights. Or so I self-diagnose, anyway. When doing a lot of cardio like running, it both pops and hurts. Darn-o.

One thing that keeps the sorrow at bay is yoga. And this morning the yoga instructor was a substitute, and she NEVER CAME. There was no class. I did some stretching before packing up my mat for the day, but it was not the same at all.

I try my hardest to go to Sunday and Monday yogas, and the gym is closed on Monday night for the holiday. So no restorative motion tomorrow, either.

Ohhhhh I lament my poor back pop today. Oh oh oh.

    Oh, no! Why do our bodies turn on us when we are trying so hard to be good to them? Hope the popping goes away, or you get it looked at if not. Happy New Year!
