Yesterday 12-2-12 we were at Sams Club in Duluth, Mn.
I noticed the normal ground turkey I buy was $2.66/lb verses the whole chicken breast which was $1.76/lb. Wanting to save $$$ I bought the chicken breast and am grinding it myself. It is a tad messy but I do have the day off and it did save us $13.00 minus the freezer wrap. I took this opportunity to be creative and made up some burgers with onions, kale and a small amount of Hidden valley ranch dressing (dry). There were very tasteee! and came in at 156 calories and that was for 4 ounces of ground chicken pre cooked weight.
This is a do again and I love that I was able to do something with my kale that I have in the freezer.
