I'd planned to take the week at home lightly. I wasn't planning to monitor my food closely as it just wasn't going to be practical. However what i found was that due to being relatively busy and there being no snack food in the house i didn't overeat.
Even when i crashed at my friends we ate junky food the next day but it was nothing compared to how we used to eat. As i said my mum hadn't stocked up on any junk food for the holidays, the worst being low fat hummus and crackers. But i tend to not over indulge with hummus as it looses it's flavor.
Before i left i was on the border of 147/8 I'm currently pushing the 146/7 mark. I don't use electronic scales so this is my best estimate when i look at the scale. I've also realised what i can treat myself to when i reach weight milestones. It wont be new clothes as i have a closet full of things that no longer fit. However i obviously will be able to wear them soon. But i have a new 3DS XL, and there are plenty of games on this that i want to buy. So these are my new milestone treats.
However i think when i reach my ultimate goal weight i will treat myself to a very good and rather expensive haircut. Which will just push my confidence up even more.
So there we have some next steps.
I'm also going to up my activity level. It is dismal at the moment. But it's a case of easy does it. As the weather is so dire i don't want to have to venture outside to be active so my first goal is a daily aerobic jig in front of the telly. Minimum 30 minutes. Then start adding in a once weekly yoga or zumba video.
I know i'll have less energy when uni begins again but i think this will be manageable.
