fat update and changing goal

Saturday, December 29, 2012

Today I changed my target date to reach my weight goal, again. At the beginning I was loosing so fast I was sure I could keep it up. I don't remember how many times I have changed the target date to reach weight goal.
I have been successful this year in loosing weight. This week I went to JC Penny and bought a new pair of pants in the smallest size I have ever worn, though I am sure that there has been some sort of updating in sizing since I was a kid since i really do not think I was super fat and my Mom used size 12 and 14 patterns to make my clothes. A year ago I was wearing 12's and a few 14's in jeans. I am a pretty solid 4!!! now and last night I bought a 2!!! Most of the 2's are too tight in the thighs and a little snug at the hips, but the waist fits fine. 4's look looser and are generous in the waist, though I still have a roll of fat that rolls from my tummy and waist up to my center back that need to go away. I can see the fat on my thighs starting to go as indents starting to happen on my inner thighs, hopefully leaving in the last 5 pounds of my goal. Hangover knees are still there. The strangest thing is that I do not think I look like a 2 or 4 as I still have that "healthy" look and not the slender look of other people I know who wear small sized clothes.

Going from a size 14 to a size 2 what an accomplishment. I understand the clothes issue all too well. If they fit everywhere else you have this huge gap at the waist, what is up with that?
I would not e too hard on yourself for the last few pounds as it sounds like your body is changing and having a healthy looking body is what is the best. We are all different and we need to just be comfortable with who we are because we will never will achieve the perfect body that they show super models having.
