I did not rock anyone's socks off with part 2 of the vaca. I went to my parents' house and did family stuff all week. This involved lots of beer, parties which inexplicably did not have dinner (?!?), and two weddings on the same day.



emoticon I actually won at the weddings by using the following schedule:

5:30pm Meet fam in bar at Wedding Hotel 1. Did not drink because I knew the plan was going to be wild.
6:00pm - 6:25pm Ceremony for Wedding 1 at the Hotel.
6:25pm - 7:00pm Drive like we stole the car. Get to Wedding 2.
7:00pm - 8:30pm Wedding Ceremony 2. "Cheat" at the dinner line, eat one fajita and not-drink one glass of wine at Reception for Wedding 2.
8:30pm - 9:15pm Drive like we stole the car.
9:15pm - 11:30pm Miss my favorite part of the reception by 10 minutes. Still had a blast with by-then drunken family at Reception for Wedding 1. Had one beer, another glass of wine that I didn't drink.

Everything else, though.....well, let's just focus on the future instead of dwelling on the egregious errors of the past, shall we?

So... future. Here it is:

Sunday:
*Figure out some starting measures, using self-assessment tool like : www.womenshealthmag.com/

*Then, Maximum Heart Rate test, as per www.runnersworld.com/run

*And cook for the rest of the week.

Monday- Sunday: Follow the plan on my main page (copied below so you don't have to do all that clicking).
*Runs: The runs will be 20 min, 30 min, 60 min.
*Rows will be for technique as much as fitness, so they will be 45-60 min on the water.
*Strength will be the 5-3-1 program, with the Triumverate program for Bench Press & Overhead Press.
*8 min abs will be the list from www.fitnessblender.com/v

Mon: 1687
Tues: 1350
Wed: 2025
Thur: 1687
Fri: 1519
Sat: 1856

Calories Out: Workout 20 min per day cardio + strength 4 days per week.
Mon: Row + Bench + accessory
Tues: Run + Squats + 8 min abs
Wed: Row + 8 min abs
Thur: Run + Deadlift + 8 min abs
Fri: Row + Overhead Press + accessory
Sat: 8 min abs
Sun: Run + 8 min abs

    Sounds like the second part of your vacay was a little nuts. Great that you're home and have a plan!

    Wow! You are ambitious and motivated! I love it! I need to learn to plan it out like this. The most planning I get to do is for the day. I cannot seem to get past one day at a time. Thanks for the motivation! emoticon
