I just read a very thought-provoking yet simple blog from Indygirl (29 December 2012).

In it she said that "If you got a flat tire, you wouldn't throw a fit and run around the car popping the other three tires. You would do what you had to and get back on the road the fastest.
If you slipped up on your plan... You know where I'm going with this!
Seize the moment and you take back your life. Change all of your tomorrow's into today."

This week I did in fact get a flat tyre. And when I went to the mechanic he said I needed four new tyres!! (Ouch!!)

How does this relate to SP? I have thought about this, and realised that perhaps it takes a major kick (or dose of bad news, like a scale weigh-in or doctor's report) to tell you that you have to fix the problem that you know you have, but it takes an expert like Spark Coach to break the news to you that you need a total overhaul of your plan/behaviour (four new tires!). And that it's going to feel huge... and uncomfortable... and maybe a bit painful and expensive...

The outcome, however, will be a ride through life that is safe and comfortable, protecting those who travel through life with you, and setting a good example for those who look to you as a role model.

Indygirl - I am sure you didn't know what you had started by posting your simple, deep blog, but I can't thank you enough.
