Hey Hey there people!!!

Saturday, December 29, 2012

1st I would like to thank all of you for your comments, suggestions and support. I really helps that there are so many people living with it. I say living but I and most of us REFUSE to suffer! lol if I won't allow myself to suffer with health issues then seems silly to allow my mind (which by the way is usually "oooo look something shiny") if you get my drift.

No cards that I am able to use at a salon but I'll go on the weeks I have a little something extra. My daughter picked me up candles with summer scents. Watermelon, cuke/melon blend & a morning dew wth is that no clue but smells refreshing. I also have gotten to the habit of lots of lights (sorry hun for the electric bill) and the fireplace is on so I'm always warm. If you have read any summer blogs I LOVE the heat.

All my bloodwork is low including my iron which I get via I.V. so need to schedule that appointment asap.

I have snooped on some of the teams that you guys are on and I may switch it up to ones that are more appropriate for this place and time in my life. I haven't exercised but have really watched what I ate. I was actually mad at sparkpeople! I am now calling myself a "stepford sparkie" all you young whippersnappers google it! I love chicken quesadillas. Not the healthy ones, I like Taco bell or Friendly's. Well we went there for dinner one night. Figured ok well since I said I would be starting over. Let me have it tonight. Did I? NOOOOOOOOO damn sparkbrain calculated the calories and what I had eaten that day and I didn't lol damn damn damn.

Currently on Long Island we are bracing for a "winter storm" which can have 2 translations.
1. nothing is going to happen we just noticed you haven't purchased enough water or milk
or
2. bend over as far as you can an kiss your butt goodbye.
I'll let you know which end I'm on after it passes.
Have a great rest of your day.

I wouldn't mind winter, except for the cold, the wind and the snow. Other than that, it's ok.

Sounds like you've got as much confidence in weather forecasts as I do. I can't wait for spring. I hate winter with a passion.

Couldn't figure out what you were talking about at first and then read some of your previous blogs. Be careful with self diagnosis. Common sense dictates that most human beings will feel a little more dreary during winter (or whatever season is least sunny in your part of the world). Doesn't necessarily mean we have a disorder. But that does mean we should try to do something about it so I think it's great that you have a plan! I love the tanning bed just to get warm and pretend I'm in the sun once or twice a month during the winter. I call it my poor man's mini vacay to the Bahamas. lol Don't forget the coconut scented tanning lotion! I've heard great things about vitamin D as well. Good luck with your journey and don't forget to try and get some laughs in along the way. emoticon
