1. The state or quality of being resolute; firm determination.
2. A resolving to do something.
3. A course of action determined or decided on.
The time of year has come again for talk of New Years' Resolutions. But I have learned that resolving simply to "lose weight" isn't enough. I've resolved every year for twenty years or more to lose this weight and it climbed steadily upward each year. This year I have resolved to create and stick to an Action Plan; the end result of which WILL BE weight loss and improved health and stamina.
Preliminary ideas for this plan include:
Getting back on track with fitness tracking. I let it slide a bit over the holidays. In the coming year I WILL enter some form of exercise EVERY day.
Finding and using new healthy recipes. At least one a week.
Drinking eight cups of water daily.
Continue tracking my calories daily and my weight weekly.
So, it's not just a resolution it's a plan for success. And that's worth getting excited about !
