At the beginning of December I decided that it was time to make some changes within myself. I told myself I would get through finals and the day of my last final would also be the last day I would eat fast food or drink soda. Originally I had planned to keep this promise to myself until school started again in January (about a month and a half). And had planned to reward myself for making it the entire time with a new pair of Nike shox. That was two weeks ago and I did stop eating fast food and drinking soda, and haven't cheated at all! Yeah! But, I didn't swear off sweets and other Christmas goodies (bad idea). So although I was not eating fast food, I was still eating enough other crap to not lose a single pound in two weeks. Ugh! But, on the positive side, I didn't gain either.
Yesterday, at the two week mark I decided to make it a bit more challenging by adding 15 minutes of cardio in. That did the trick, the scale finally moved. (2 pounds of probably water, but I will take it!)
Then in another two weeks, I will begin to buckle down and start eating more fruits and vegetables, eat smaller portions and just try to eat better in general.
Can't wait to hit the treadmill again tonight and see how far I can go!! Wahoo!!

Sounds like a good plan. The best way is with one thing at a time. That way you really do it. Then add another thing. Before you know it you're on your way. Congrats on the weight loss. Spark on!
