No, REALLY. Welcome back, Me!

Saturday, December 29, 2012

I'm really starting to appreciate that saying, "If you're tired of starting over, then stop QUITTING!" I am really sick of starting over. I'm just sick of myself. No more whining and complaining. No more moaning and groaning. My flippin' clothes don't fit. I'm heavier than I have EVER been (with the exception of pregnancy). My weight and height show that I'm officially "Obese" according to my BMI. Good grief! How many signs does a gal need to tell her that it's time to get real about weight loss.

It's time. I am giving myself the gift of health for 2013!

I truly appreciate all of the support. I think that's probably one of the most important keys to achieving and maintaining weight loss. It's so nice to know I'm not alone!

Welcome back. You have plenty of company here. No judgement...(as many of us have definitely been there...)

It's paying attention to the words from AA..."One day at a time..."

I've been right there - right where you are - about 6 months ago. SparkPeople has changed my life, and that's really not an exaggeration. You can do this! Blog, track, and as one of my favorite SparkFriends says, push that tush! The biggest things for me have been the accountability that I feel and the idea that doing something is better any day than doing nothing. Your desire to make a change is inspirational! Best wishes for a great new year!
