Well, I have a mini-goal of reaching 158 by 12/31. I didn't think I would get there but I think I ate something bad yesterday because of *ahem* issues, I weighed in today at 158.7, then 158.2 :( I'm sure this is just a momentary loss. I was 159.4 yesterday so that loss isn't going to stick. I'm still eating healthy and today tried Dr. Oz's Green Drink (strained through a cheese cloth) and it was AMAZING! I'm really going to try to drink this more often to get my veggies. I'm just using my blender although I heard the Vitamix is better. I'm not going to spend $ on a juicer, but I did buy painters straining bags which I heard make the straining process sooooooo much easier. I even saved the pulp, added a little water and then ate THAT with a spoon later as a little snack. Not my favorite, but still tasted good and I got even more fiber.
I wanted to walk this morning but then when I realized the time I knew I couldn't fit it in before I leave for my facial appt. I may walk after the facial to get in my 10,000 steps (well, 14,000 in truth since I'm trying to catch up for my poor showing earlier this week). I ended up walking over 17,000 steps yesterday between my elliptical, 7 mile walk and just normal toddling around. Well see how the weather in the northeast holds up though.
So I bought an adjustable jump rope and followed the instructions incorrectly. I guess you hold the BOTTOM of the handle to your armpits and that is how you determine the height. I held the top and now it's too short. I left a little slack but it's still made for someone 5'2 (maybe) or shorter. If anyone wants it, let me know! I just ordered myself a new one since there was no saving it for me and no one else I know of that height would use it.
