Day 364 - Rounding out the goals for 2013

Saturday, December 29, 2012

Ok, as of yesterday, breaking the sugar addition is goal #1 for 2013.

The rest are as follows:

2. Consistency of 1200 fitness minutes per month for 12 consecutive month.

The goal for 2012 was a 1000 fitness minutes per month. I didn't quite make
it BUT I was so much more consistent than 2011. 2013 is the year of stepping
it up a notch.

3. Earn 100 sparkpoints per day

The real goal here is to not hide. When I fall off the wagon, I act like a 2 year
old. If I can't see it recorded, it didn't happen. Well we all know that this isn't
true. This goal should help me stay consistent with recording. We all know
this helps us stay on track even when we have some backslides.

There you have writing.

I really like your comment, "The real goal is not to hide."
This is a valuable insight that applies to so many areas!
For most of my life I hid my weight because I was so ashamed of the number. I even refused to get on the scale at the doctor's office!
What was I thinking? That people wouldn't see I was fat because they did not know the exact number of pounds?!
Transparency is risky because not all people are kind. But it is the best chance for facing our weaknesses head-on and finding the support we need to succeed!
Good luck on reaching your goals!

Another SparkFriend is rewarding herself with a penny for every SparkPoint earned - that will be a nice reward jar!
I am aiming to be more consistent with my activity in 2013, the FitBit will help with that. But I have developed some pain that makes me hesitate to commit to as many monthly minutes as I hoped. Looks like you are creating a winning plan!
