Updated Goals and Rewards

I'm almost at a monumental step in my weight loss journey. I've lost 16 pounds...the most I've ever lost in the history of trying to lose weight and I'm almost at that 20 pound lost mark! Once I get to that point, I will feel so empowered. Right now I feel empowered as well because I've never stuck to eating healthier and feeling better about myself for this long. I'm almost out of the 200's and can't wait!
With all this excitement, I looked at my goals I wrote in the past and my interests and location have changed since last time (In my goals, I had many rewards to visit places in California since I was living there, but not anymore). Now I'm going to update my goals and rewards.
My goal is to be a certain weight by a certain date. I don't want to put too much pressure on myself, so if I make it on time that's great, but if I don't...I just gotta keep moving. It's just interesting/fun/challenging to put a date with my weight loss goals.
1/12/13: 205 lbs (marks 20 lbs lost in my weight loss journey): a funny t-shirt
1/31/13: 199 lbs (UNDER 200 lbs!): New shoes
2/16/13: 190 lbs: New fingernail polish
3/17/13: 180 lbs: A fancy pen (I'm a nerd when it comes to writing utensils)
3/31/13: 185 lbs (40 lbs lost): Ear piercing
4/07/13: 170 lbs (The average weight I was in my early years of HS): Trip to the zoo
In high school, I remember weighing 170 lbs and then around my junior year my weight started to sky rocket. I was really stressed out trying to get perfect grades (I cried when I got the one and only B). I don't really know what it's like to be a young person and weigh less than 170 lbs so I think once I get closer to that, I'll make a list for goals and rewards since I'll be a new person (smaller body & awakened soul). It seems like 170 lbs (55 lbs away) is so far away and something I'll never get to, but then I look back up to my goals and in small sections, it seems possible. It's going to take time and I've gotta learn to live day by day instead of having my head stuck in the future.
Do the work today and before you know it, the present will be the future you always dreamed.
