So it is December 29th and I'm 25 lbs heavier and training for an Ironman. The past 2 weeks have been difficult. I've been sick on vacation/Christmas. It figures that as soon as school vacation hits I get hit with a nasty cold that puts me down for 5 days. I had planned on having a lot of time to get my workouts done and enjoying every moment. Instead I sat around eating and feeling fatter by the minute.
Now that I am feeling better I need to do the following instead of waiting to January 1st as the magical start date. My clothes are feeling really tight and I have a closet full of things that don't fit.
1. Stop eating sugar with the exception of fruit.
2. Stop eating refined white carbs.
I did a great job following the first 8 weeks of EN's Off Season training plan. I even improved my biking and running numbers!
