Right now, my story is not inspirational in the least. I have actually gained since joining spark people. I'm taking this as a (very) slow learning curve and don't think it's a waste of time. I've learned that I don't have anything wrong with me (thyroid, hormones, etc); I simply eat too much. If I want to lose weight, tracking my food intake is essential. I exercise a lot, but not as much when I eat poorly. Tracking my exercise minutes has shown me this. It's the beginning of the year and the cycle of kooky diets begins, I'm very tempted, but I want to learn how to cook and eat healthy for life. Believing that each step is a learning process will hopefully assist me in having an inspirational story to blog about...stay tuned.
