I love your photos of your trip to India. It must have been an absolutely amazing trip. Of course, seeing the staggering level of poverty couldn't have been easy either. It's tough to know what to do. You don't want to stare and yet, you can't help it.

I love that you went to McDonalds ! I will routinely hit a McDonalds whenever I travel abroad because I know I can find a clean bathroom there. I also like to see how different they are from the ones in the US. I know that many adapt to local customs i.e. like this one that didn't serve burgers.

Many thanks for showing your wonderful travel photos.

What a different culture. Thank you for sharing your pictures. I would only see this kind of pictures in movies. You saw the real thing.

What a trip. Glad you got to hit McDonalds though. I like trying new foods but then after too long it is overwhelming. LOL

When I was in Jaipur a few years ago they were in the midst of building some huge transportation project. Looked like maybe an elevated train or Monorail. They had those concrete berms surrounding the construction and stenciled on them were 3 letters (something like WPA) and "Making Jaipur a World Class City". 20 seconds later I have a picture of a cow laying in the middle of the street! Now, I ask you...what "World Class City" do you know of that has cows in the middle of the street?!! Such a different culture! And by accident of birth we are Americans! Lucky us!

Wow. Fabulous pictures. I have to say, the cows look like they are starving. Is this a different work breed or do their bones always stick out like that?

Do you travel a lot for your work?

I'm not sure I would want to be on my own there - good that you had someone to take you around and give you such a personal view. The city itself looks extremely poor but very interesting. Thanks.
