Just when you think...

Saturday, December 29, 2012

you have things sorted in your mind along comes something else to knock you back. Well I just am not going to let it!

I woke up this morning and along with a migraine (that thankfully is just an annoying interference) I have a sore throat, no voice (I'm sure my children will appreciate that fact) and sneezing for England. Not exactly feeling on top of the world.

Surprisingly feeling less depressed than I have over the last few days. Maybe the Christmas blues are passing? Christmas is not really my favourite time of year, but I do enjoy watching my children open their presents. This year with two teenagers, it's been difficult. Christmas plans went out of the window when one or other decided to sleep through the day, so Christmas dinner is still in the fridge! Hopefully with my son going back to Leeds tomorrow we can do dinner today and at least retrieve some of it.

My youngest daughter is 3 a week today! I am so excited. I love this age. She is so funny. She tells her older brother and sister off telling them 'to your room now!' which gets a giggle...I know I know we shouldn't but it really is very funny! She is my antidote to my awkward teens ;-)

My plans today is to enjoy my last day with my son. Hopefully he will not leave it so long next time (I haven't seen him properly in 10 months!). But I better make the most of it!

I hope you get to feeling better. Teens are awkward aren't they? That's cute what your little one tells them.
