2012 is drawing to a close (with motivational pictures)

This has been a difficult year in some respects, but I am grateful for SP and for all my SparkFriends.
I have hope for 2013 and turning around some things in order to get back to "nonobese" BMI. I am not going to set myself up for failure by setting a pounds-lost goal, but I am aiming for the first 10% weight loss, getting back to One-derland, and improving my fitness. I plan to sign up for SparkCoach to see how much it will help push me on the journey. Once I start making progress, I expect the momentum will pick up.
I broke a toe and developed pain in both my knee, hip and shoulder so this has been affecting both my physical exercise progress and my mental state - I've been afraid to push to hard and injure myself farther. I'm going to stay positive and expect that as I get stronger and fitter, the pain will be less and the conditioning will help me feel better and better.
Will write myself a letter for the end of 2013 on and see how close I can come to seeing my dreams fulfilled.

Sounds like you have the right mindset. I always tell people that my weight loss was all mental. I had to change my mind before I could change my body.

    I hear ya, girl! Love you and know you are not alone. Had setbacks too, after getting hit by that nasty old car, but we CAN, we WILL, and we ARE, by just being here and taking it one minute at a time.     Allow those injuries to heal properly and get that doctors clearance. Start off slow and rebuild that momentum. emoticon my emoticon ! I can relate to 4 of those quote's. Thanks for the remember of our inner strengths.

    Get a grip on that weight gain right away!!!
Three years ago I shattered a bone in my foot and was laid up for a good 4 months. Over Christmas I had a pity party and ate what I wanted, gained 8 lbs. which I am still struggling with.
I'll join you in making 2013 the year to lose it forever!!!

    Two of these quotes "You can't out-exercise a bad diet" and "You can make excuses or you can make changes. You decide" are going straight to my mantra page.
