Beautiful snow and great cardio

Saturday, December 29, 2012

Everything has been beautiful and white for the last two days with all our snow. We are expecting more through the next week. McKenzie is enjoying making snowmen with her mom and dad and going sled riding with them. She is off from school until Wednesay, Jan 2, 2013 and has been enjoying her days off...spending some quality time with her mom and dad and her other grandparents.

I think I may have overdone it just a bit yesterday when shoveling the snow. I was overjoyed at getting in some extra cardio, but tonight my left shoulder is giving me fits. The heating pad isn't helping and it is bothering me to sit at the computer. So I am calling it a night, possibly taking something to help ease it a bit and heading to bed.

Hope all my friends have a wonderful weekend and a super finish to 2012. Blessings to all for a wonderful New Year. Be safe and tell your loved ones how much they mean to you.
Blessings, love and hugs,

Safe travels today
Heat and electricity for our home

Too many positives and blessings to list them all here....Praise the Lord!!!

Thank you to each and every one of my wonderful friends who stopped by and commented!!! My shoulder is doing much better. I do break shoveling up into small pieces until I get it done. Sometimes there is just so much and it has to be done over and over again. Of course it doesn't help that the drivers of the snow plow keep plowing it right back into the end of the drive way. LOL!!! I am just thankful they are doing their job so well also. It sure makes driving much safer!!! My chiropractor did give me some door stretching exercises to keep that shoulder stretched out. I will continue to do those stretches daily too as they do help.
Again thank you!!!
Blessings and hugs to all,

HELEN I hope your shoulder feels better soon. I wanted to go out and shovel some snow also for the excercise but I am not allowed to because of my health. My youngest daughter and her husband and my two grandsons came over and did igt before my DH got home from work so he came home to a nice surprise, it was all cleaned up for him. We are expecting a few more inches today sometime though.

Hope you feel better soon

Be nice to yourself and take care of that shoulder. I am so thankful that here where we live the snow removal is all taken care of for us. Sounds like your GD is really enjoying her time off from school and having lots of fun. Have a blessed and Happy New Year.

Awwww, hope your shoulder feels better. We had snow and did the shoveling as well. Made sure to stretch, but still feeling it a little bit today. And there's more snow! It does look pretty. Fortunately, don't have chores outside the house to do today (shopping, etc.), so after shoveling today, a little sparking and I think a fire in the fireplace is in order!

HUGS and wishing you and your family a beautiful New Year filled with blessings and abundance.

Hope you shoulder heals quickly, so you'll be in form for the next batch of snow. Only I suggest you break it up in chunks though-take some breaks.

Hope you are feeling better today. It is too easy to overdo it and not know it until it is too late. Be very careful.

Back off a bit from shoveling and let that shoulder recover.
The extra cardio is great but pain-free is better. HUGS!
