Not my plans....

Friday, December 28, 2012

We had a great Christmas with the family! So thankful to be with both of our kids and all 3 grandkids!

Today - ended up at the dr office - cellulitis again... lower leg. It needs elevated and wrapped...

Good news! I'm lower weight wise than I have ever been! :-) Only by a pound, etc...
but the end of November I had gained about 5 lbs... now I lost those 5 and an additional 2!

We have guests from Michigan coming tomorrow - This couple - went to Bible school with us way back in the late 70's. We were in their wedding 32 years ago, and they were in ours 39 years ago. Love having them here - it is so relaxing, so unpretentious! They've been coming every new years for the last 7 years. We do have another couple coming in for just tomorrow - the husband was friends of ours about 25 years ago.

Gratefully - my dear sweet hubby will step up to do all the food prep, etc (along with our dear friends) since I'm to keep my leg elevated and wrapped...

So - much to be grateful for...:-) Wishing my dear SP friends God's abundant joy, peace, and grace in this coming year!

Hey Roxie - every one pound lost is a triumph - something to celebrate!! emoticon
Look at this celulitis as a temporary bump in the road - a chance to catch up with friends and sit down for a good chin-wag!!
Watch your eating and before you know it you will be back exerciseing again and losing more pounds!!

Sorry to hear about the cellulitis - that is nasty stuff. I had a bout of it in the summer so I know a little bit how you feel. Hopefully your antibiotics will kick in fast and it will soon be just a memory.
Have a wonderful time with your friends, and emoticon

CAROLYN0107 12/29/2012 7:35AM sorry about the cellulitis. Take care of yourself. Congrats on the weightloss. I'm going to have others over for New Year's eve. We'll play games.
I do not know why but I have been unable to post a SP blog since arriving in Africa. I've tried over and over again. I can not do it either in Firebox nor in another browser. I'm going to keep trying though. I can leave comments on blogs and do everything else SP wise but just not post. For me that's not good since I've been posting twice a week for a couple of years. Now I have people going to my page wondering if I ever got to Africa. Nice but.... I'd rather be blogging.
