Day 369 - M

I think I may have unintentionally created a little confusion...so now it's time to clear it up. I joined SP on 12.26.11 so 12.26.12 was my 1 year SP Anniversary. I entered maintenance about 6 weeks ago or so, but kept losing intentionally. SP set a goal for me, but I lowered that goal by about 5 pounds. But then I really wanted to lose 50 pounds or get to what I thought would be a good weight for my 4' 10.5" frame ~ 100 pounds. I reached my own goal of 100 pounds a week ago bringing the total loss to 52#. This is where I want to be and WILL stay at 100#. There will be ups & downs, but I will definitely make this work. This is the 4th time in my life that I've lost 50+ pounds. Gained 50# with each of my boys then lost it each time. In 2002 I lost 55# but did not have the benefit of SP, so eventually gained nearly all of it back. I'm determined to be among the 5% who keep it off permanently. I've already been one of the 95% who gained it all back and this time I'm going to stay in the 5% camp. So then, this is not my 1 year maintenance anniversary, but it's my 1 year SP anniversary. But for me, that's really exciting!!! I'm SO glad to be here!!
Thought Jetta & I could walk the big hill today since it was plowed yesterday, but it was very, very slippery and much of it had turned to ice. Had to settle for walking inside again today and we have warnings for 3" - 5" of snow tonight, so don't know just what morning will bring. I may have to walk inside for quite a while?!?!? That's OK, we just do what we have to do to get it done. Also did a ST session tonight - core; lower body.
Tomorrow our youngest son will be 29!! I baked a chocolate cake with white frosting for him. It's a long standing tradition. We'll take it to his house tomorrow morning (and will LEAVE it there) if the snow doesn't stop us!
