Starting to remodel/clean up

I didn't get much walking in today or "exercis", but I sure did get worn out working in the front bedroom. A friend of a friend came over to help me take out the little boards that they put the carpet on. Then I had to move things so we could get to the other areas of the room. The floor in that room had gotten ruined some time ago so there were several boxes of things in there and the bed that was torn down. (Actually, there are boxes all over the place) We got all those wood strips out (I'm not sure what they are called) and all the staples and nails as far as I know. Now I will be heading for the next room to tear out the carpet.
Yesterday I did get called about the stress test I am supposed to take. She said I didn't need to actually run on the treadmill. They only go as fast and long as the person can actually do. She did say I should be able to walk up two flights of stairs without stopping. I am not sure if that means to two floors or just one floor in an office building or the hospital buildings (I have done that fairly recently). So I went up and down my basement stairs (both ways) 4 times. It wasn't my breath that ended up stopping me from more, but my legs wore out. So I got some exercise that way. I am hoping that I will be able to do more before that appointment which is now in the middle of the month.
Anyway, Eventually this house is going to get organized and I will have the wood floor with rugs instead of dirty wall-to-wall carpet.
