So today was an interesting thoughts on staying at my sisters house were that I would be super active with my nephew and hop on the treadmill when he is napping. So far, that plan hasn't worked....yesterday he took an hour nap...just long enough for me to clean off her treadmill before he woke, the munchkin napped all afternoon except he wouldn't lay in his crib. He would lay on me, next to me, or on the floor...but if I got away from him by two feet, the kid screamed...I guess it was nice though, to be needed by him so much...and let's face it, I really enjoy cuddling with him... Needless to say, there was no treadmill time. I did however manage to bundle him all up and carry hm around the block one and a half times...not bad if I do say so myself....I even entered it into my new tracker app and it was 73 calories...I'll take it!

Tomorrow is supposed to be a running day. It's supposed to lightly snow here, so I'm hoping my sister will still go...if she doesn't want to, I may just have to go by myself....

Nothing else much to say, my head has been hurting. I think that is because for the past week, I nearly doubled my calorie body is hopefully readjusting to what is normal....being away from home is quite a damper to my normal routines...I can honestly say that I am craving zumba and can't wait til next week Wednesday...

One positive of being away from home is there is no scale here....well there is a scale, but it isn't my scale, so I am not as inclined to step onto it....when I left home Thursday morning, I weighed 210.4 and had a 43% body fat composition.. I know the body fat won't go down being here, but I'm hoping the numbers might. I haven't been exercising as much, but I'm really trying to track all my calories....who knows...only the scale will tell Wednesday morning...

I'm really excited to start a new year off and get back into my habits that are slowly becoming healthy....I know I say this every year for my New Years resolution, to get healthy, to lose weight, etc, but this year is different....I actually have a drive to do it! I'm so excited for the road that lies ahead!

Have a great night everyone...

Thanks for stopping by my blog and for your supportive comments. I'm glad you are able to take time to enjoy this time with family; your usual routines will be back in play soon. Your nephew is obviously in love with his auntie! Such sweet memory making and bonding time.

You are have a great attitude and perspective. It is hard to take things step by step, building new habits and a lifestyle as we go. You have already set a great plan in motion, with action! Here's to a terrific 2013!

When I carry my grand daughter around, I always figure I am burning extra calories from the added weight to my body....bonus!

Go for the walk in the snow, it will be fun. As you probably guessed I hate treadmills and I own one.
***ALLIEBROWN77 is correct the brain needs lots of water and without it, the brain contracts and migraines are produced. You also need water to lose weight (fat is water soluble).

If your head's been hurting, make sure you're getting enough water! When I eat more than I usually do (like holidays), I get dehydrated faster, usually because of all the salty snacks and goodies around.

Keep up your determination!
