Not motivated

AAARGH. Today I am not he least bit motivated to do anything!! Curves closed early and will be closed tomorrow. All for a little snow!

Thanks. I usually do not care if Curves is open - I only go 3 times a week. I dance every day, and walk continually at work, in and out of the courthouse. I will go upstairs right now and put on some great music and dance!

Of course, I will have some snow to shovel tomorrow morning. I really like doing that, as long as there is not a lot of slush below the snow!

    Actually, you don't need curves to workout. You could throw on some music and dance. That should raise your cardio. If you have steps in your home go up and down a number of times. You can get the same workout. You may not have the social interaction or others cheering you on but you can do the same at home.

I love going to my gym, that was when I was able to. I have Multiple Sclerosis and working out for myself right now isn't possible with some of my health problems so I find little things I still can do whether at home or away. Don't give up because the gym is closed there is always something to do. You could go out and shovel snow it is a work out also. I am not suggesting you do that. But being creative helps.

I am not a fan of the snow, due to the roads and what it sometimes prevents us from getting places, but if you live in areas that has snow you have to be creative and keep it going on.

Lawn maybe it's the excuse your giving yourself for not working out. I think you need to look past that and see why you don't want to work out. You can do that by saying I don't feel like working out.

Snow and the winter months for some cause depression because of the lack of light and some get these lights and give themselves light therapy. Some keep an agenda. There are many things. I know snow can hinder us , but don't let it hinder you from your goals and dreams. emoticon
