I have been doing this Maintain, Don't Gain thing through my work. My goal was to lose at least 10 pounds during the month that this was going on. I meet that goal a few days ago
. So now any other weight I lose is just icing on the cake so to speak. I still have a lot of weight to go but I know I can do it. Lets go 2013, I can't wait to prove to myself that I can do it. I am not usually the type of person to make New Years resolutions. However this year I decided to give it a try. The only one that I plan to make is to not be so hard on myself. Every time I weigh in I have expectations and when I don't see the weight loss I was hoping for I am depressed. I need to be willing to celebrate all the aspects of this journey. I need to celebrate staying on my workout regime, pushing myself, eating right. Instead of focusing on the scale I want to focus on how I feel and how my clothes fit. I know this is harder said than done, but I am going to spend this year learning how to do it.
