Friday (TGIF!!)

Friday, December 28, 2012

Busy day today. Am working for a few hours, then plan to go home and get some stuff done. The Boy will be back tonight, and our house guest is still with us (it will be fun for them to catch up, as they were good pals in high school).

I had a relatively good food management day yesterday. So far so good today -- but I'm always controlled at work. It's home that's tough. I work at J#2 tonight, so my day's food should be ok, as I have a food schedule that I stick to when I work both jobs.

My daughter is having problems at work, and plans to give her notice on Saturday. This is good. She will job-hunt, and has a good Plan B at a pal's restaurant.

Am counting my blessings -- are you?

Yes, it is so important to grateful for all that is going right in our lives! I am the opposite from you with eating, however. I do so much better at home where I am relaxed and doing what I want than at work where I feel stressed and trapped. So, I am very careful about food I bring with me. Not too much, or I'll likely eat more than I should. Not too little, or I'll be more likely to eat stuff that is calorie dense. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
