Not as bad as i thought it would be

Friday, December 28, 2012

I have been avoiding the scale but today i 'bit the bullet' and decided to see the damage. Not as bad as I thought it would be - only couple of pounds. 235. With the fact that I have not worked out in over a week I thought it would be much worse. Only exercise was shoveling snow (over 10 inches in ARKANSAS! it NEVER snows like that down here. I had to borrow a snow shovel from a neighbor that brought theirs with them when they moved here from up north.

Shoveling is a lot of exercise! I am in NH and we got over 10" yesterday. It took me 90 minutes to shovel the driveway and another 45 minutes of it today to clear the foot of the driveway where the plow pushed it in our yard and around the mailbox and an access walk from our front door to the street.

Congrats that it was only up a couple lbs!

when i was much younger heard about a woman writer that ate badly for month on end . when she stepped upon the scales she was excepting to see the worst but was surprised to see the scale had not moved upward . she then thought oh i can eat this badly all the time and went back to her bad habits . well in less then 3 months the results of all that bad eating hit her a jump of ten pounds upward . she was shocked to see this and found herself back to eating properly for now life . it took many months to return to her former weight but she learned a hard lesson . lessons we have to learn and listen to ourself . forgive a few but not a lot of not watching . emoticon emoticon m emoticon m emoticon m emoticon m emoticon m emoticon emoticon mm
