Yesterday I got a grand total of 6 fitness minutes. Not 60, not even 16. Just 6. Even on my rest day I normally do more than that. I sat on my backside so much that my muscles were aching from lack of movement.
That's one of the downsides to being at my Mum and Dad's. I don't have to walk to or from work, so I don't. Dad likes to feel useful by driving us places, so I let him. We drove the seven-minute walk to the cinema the other day.
But today I decided that enough is enough. Yes, my weight is still going gradually down but that will not last if I just sit and vegetate. Today I have 131 fitness minutes! Makes me feel a wee bit better, although my total minutes for the week is still 232 out of 465. Not even half. I'm doing 5k tomorrow, which will knock it over halfway at least.
My goal for next week (and possibly for every week in 2013) is to reach my target of 465 fitness minutes. I can do it!
