I am trying to get an early start on the new year. Yesterday I started using the food tracker again and, in spite of pain in my hip which has slowed down my exercise for several months, I managed to get in 32 minutes on the treadmill by breaking it down into smaller sessions. I need to work a little harder on controlling the calories but I did manage to come in under my goal for the day. I still have a few Christmas treats left to contend with but I see my DH eating cookies and he doesn't have a weight problem so better that he is eating them than if I get into them. My favorite exercise is Wii Walk It Out but until I get rid of another 15 to 20 pounds I will have to limit that since it seems to aggravate the hip discomfort.
