The break is over and getting back on track.

I went on a hiatus from Sparking, eating a little healthier and exercising the last two weeks. My family and I spent time enjoying the company of two sisters and niece who we hadn't seen in three years. I am ready to get back in the flow of things because I must admit I missed all the fitness. By God's grace and with the continued gift of life, I am looking forward to the New Year and continuing on my journey to healthier eating and being more active with the family. I hope everyone has a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year.

    Welcome back! Sometimes you need a breather to just live and not focus on all things health. I read a blog about a month ago where the woman said that she goes hard for 3 weeks and then takes 2 weeks as a "maintenance phase" to ensure that she learns to live while keeping off the weight that she lost over the previous 3 weeks. Her journey may be a littel longer but her pounds haven't crepted back on and when she gets to her goal weight, maintenance will be easier for her.
