December has been rough. It started out great, then with one holiday party, then another, then a visit with friends, a couple of dinners out, family, more family, and still more family yet to come, I've had a very difficult time losing weight.
I've been over my calorie range for most of the month. Most days it's not even what I'd consider "splurging" either. Just a snack or something puts me over 1-200 calories.
I can't drink 8 cups of water. It's just so much. I pee every hour on the days I do, and I hate doing that, so i'm just going to hunker down and shoot for 6. I'll be plenty hydrated with 6.
Exercising is going well. I still can't do 3 sets of 12 on the chest press, but someday I'll get there. Maybe today? (ha ha, yeah right) It is arms day though.
On a side note, every time I use the elliptical, it feels odd. Like my legs aren't extending quite enough, and I'm in a constant squat. Really hurts my legs. I'm liking the treadmill though. 20 minutes at 3.5 mph at an incline of 3. Sweaty, but not painful.
I think I should get a manicure next week if I meet that goal too.
Work is starting a biggest loser competition on the 7th. Since I'm already in Operation:Healthy lifestyle, I'm going to enter and see if I can't get some cash out of it.
It's a 12 week contest, so the wimpy people will drop out after a couple of weeks.
