We all possess that monster, the one that never wants to give up!
The one writes letters such as this one:
The monster that lives in us all seems to always want more, more, more, even when we are fighting to have less.
We walk away from the table with crumbs all over us.
Sometimes we even take that monster into the bedroom with us!
But we can change, we can work to make and form better habits.
It takes time, and it takes commitment~~both of which we sometimes say we don't have time for.
But you are worth taking the time for that, there is only one you, and if you don't take care of yourself, no one is going to do it for you!
Are you worth the fight?
Are you worth the time?
Are you worth the effort?
No it won't be easy, there will be stumbling blocks, that either we put up ourselves, or someone else puts in front of us.
But we can use those blocks to our advantage as well!
We have to decide if this is something we really want, and you have to be doing it for yourself, you will not succeed if you are trying to lose weight for someone else, you will start to feel resentment towards that someone, and it will only make the journey tougher.
So you need to ask yourself~~
Am I losing weight for me or someone else?
If you are wanting to lose weight for yourself then success is waiting for you, because you will not allow anything or anyone to get in your way~~once you say "I am doing this for me" then everyone else better get of your way.
It's not that hard to tame that monster that is inside of all of us, we just have to want to do it for us!
So take a little bit of time, reflect on what it is you want to accomplish, write it down, seeing it on paper is a motivator, then set DAILY goals...start small, just one thing changed will start to put a chain on that monster that is holding you back, then work on another..
Bad habits did not start overnight, bad habits will not disappear overnight!
Just take that first step to changing because you want to, and you will soon see that monster tamed!
