Holding On to Christmas

It's December 27, and I've already seen a denuded discarded Christmas tree out for the trash men to pick up.... that was fast.

I am going to leave mine up for a while, and enjoy it as a beacon of hope and refreshment.... I find it comforting somehow, and I'm reluctant to let it go.

    I feel exactly the way you do! Mine is artificial so there is no hurry to pack it away so soon. When I got it out this year, I remembered feeling like I had just put it away. So sad when it is gone! emoticon

    mine is coming down tomorrow. it's been up since thanksgiving. we celebrated our Christmas month early as that's the only time we get her. seperated families are terrible. it destroys everyone.
