I saw this in the new book "The Oxygen Diet Solution" and wanted to share with everyone. As the New Year approaches, many of us are setting new goals and resolutions. Here are some tips on how to reach those goals using the "SMART" acronym:
Be as specific as possible (Ex: I want to lose 5 lbs, not just "I want to lose weight.")
Make your goals measureable. Set a timeline so that you stay on track.
Make sure your goals are attainable! You didn't put the weight on overnight, it won't come off overnight either!
Be realistic. Start with a smaller goal and then work up to the bigger ones!
Realize that goals will take time. Be patient.
