Hm... what is there to say about the last few days? I ignored everything, cooked/baked a lot, enjoyed my family (in-laws were here for Christmas) - and I even got in two days of running. Not too bad.
Of course, then I got on the scale this morning
I got a FitBit for Christmas (and a new bluetooth headphones/head set for running)... and I am obsessed with getting in 10K steps daily! lol I've had pedometers before, but never been this focused on it. So I have to laugh at myself. However, it did get me on the treadmill on Christmas (3.5 miles to make my 10K) and yesterday (2.5 miles). I love looking at my sleep patterns - I can see when DH comes to bed and when the kids woke up! lol
Anyway, I realized that I have 5 days until the new year - and I'm not going to make my December mileage goal.
My knee is hurting today, so I won't be running tonight (though I may try to fit in something else)... but it means my mileage won't happen. I wanted to get to where I could run a full 30 minutes without stopping by the end of Dec too... I made 27 minutes (by sheer force of will I think) on Christmas. I'll try for 28 minutes tomorrow and I should be able to hit this goal.
I am back to eating better today (in-laws got on the plane this morning) - even though my MIL left us with POUNDS of fudge and other candies. I will hide it all when I get home - and, maybe, bring a big plate for the office tomorrow (and put it in an area FAR away from myself).
