How Many Day 1s is This?

I dunno. I've lost count. So many day ones; no "end dates." No dates when I've reached my final goal. I came kinda close. I danced in Healthy for a wee bit. But here I am again. I have no idea what I weigh (haven't stepped on a scale for a couple of months - and if you know me, you know that's HUGE!), but I know how I feel, & I feel gross.

So, I'm making a stab at it again. I'm milking my free trial of SparkCoach for all it's worth (trial ends January 3), and will slowly return to the world of tracking & measuring, and most importantly, sweating. Yes, those 3x3" post-it notes will again litter my house, as they travel back & forth between my kitchen & my computer. It stinks, it's a pain, it takes time, but it seems to work.

If the weather is nice, I will get out for a walk at work today; I'm looking at a treadmill from Craigslist this afternoon after work. Kids will be on a quick trip w/ the other grandma this w'end, so if it's meeting, I hope to get back to Jazzercise & put a whole new spin on the "jiggle-jiggle-jiggle" part of "I'm sexy & I know it" (yeah... I know it's wiggle-wiggle-wiggle, but when I do it, it's all jiggle!!). Wow, not only does Jazzercise keep me moving, it keeps me hip! LOL

I have to keep a lower profile this time. I'm gonna try it just on my own w/ the SparkCoach. The community just takes too much time... I can't commit to it. I don't wanna get emotionally attached to it. I love y'all, but I just can't. (yet) But if y'all know of a small, supportive, gimmick-free team that gets results, let me know! (The trouble w/ good small teams is that they don't stay small for very long!!!)

Once again, the timing of my restart is weird. I'm unplugging for the 1st 7 days of January, & we'll be away for a few days then, too. But as always, I'll do the best I can w/ what I have.

    As many day 1s as you need. I am losing again too. Welcome back, missed you. I am staying off teams too, focusing on the basics.

    I'm proud of you, Nancy, for persisting and giving yourself another chance. Keep at it -- you've done it before and you CAN do it again! It's not easy, and often not fun, but YOU ARE SOOOO WORTH IT!

    Although you may not like the idea you are having more day 1s than you can count~ you have not given up and that is more important! I suggest baby steps and small goals to build momentum toward your larger, long term goals! emoticon

I don't know of any small , supportive, gimmick-free teams on SP....but I have found one in my local chapter of TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly). It is a great support group, and it is very affordable (yearly dues are $28, and weekly fees are usually only $1).
