Be A Lifeline And Pass it on!

Wednesday, December 26, 2012

emoticon Welcome to December, my favorite month of the year! Christmas season makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. It is not about the gifts, lights, parties, food and merriment, but rather the reason for the season. Share your love and embrace God's love this month. This is a "good" thing! This month I'll be sharing God related material. Some will be serious, some will be church related, some will be laughable and some will be delectable. Please come daily to enjoy and share with your friends!
emoticon I sent out a message to all members of three Spark teams for a Merry Christmas. I also let them know they are loved and cherished. The responses were abundant. However, I was sadden to find out (through returned responses) how many of our Spark friends were alone or had uncommon sadness for Christmas this year. Several had had NO Christmas outside of themselves (including cards, calls or messages of any kind). The message I sent out was their only cheer and they were propelled to share this with me (mostly in confidence). I have interacted with them for months and some for many years and for the most part I never knew what was going on in their lives outside of our exercise and healthy lifestyle goals. That one little message was a literal life saving "event" for at least one soul. You never know what affect you have on others with the simplest of things. Don't be hesitant or stingy with sharing yourself with others. What may be a casual smile or word to you could mean the strength, endurance or comfort of another. You may be someone else's lifeline. Life is a gift. Please take a moment and share it throughout your awake time. I do cherish all my Spark family and if your reading this that includes you. Thank you for being there! Pass it on! God and I love you!
emoticonHugs & hugs ... I wouldn't want you to be lopsided. lol Merry Christmas-after and great joy to all!
