Glad it's over.....

Wednesday, December 26, 2012

Well Christmas is over and I guess it's back to normal now. I work in a nursing home and all the families and residents gave us candy, cookies ,etc. I only had a little of all the junk, and boy was it good, now I got to get back on track. I stayed within my calories, but most of them were empty calories. Maybe next year they'll bring us fruits and fruit baskets. Wishful thinking.
This Christmas I got a Fitbit and the battery ran out after 2 days, but I love it. My new kindle fire should be arriving shortly. My oldest son bought me an IPad. This is so cool. Now I am so connected and in the 21th century. Lol.

Oh how wonderful that you have all those electronic tools...I had a laptop and my daughter took it outside, without my permission and dropped it. Needless to say, it was totaled. Now I am sharing the computer and have to fight to get to use it.

    Enjoy your new toys.

Sounds like you had an awesome Christmas! I am still debating about the FitBit. I have a Body Media that is very similar but you wear it on your arm instead. I think they monitor about the same things. I have a regular Kindle and love it! My daughter got the Kindle Fire for Christmas and she is super excited. I hope you enjoy yours!

wow..your list is same as mine but there is only one difference that you have all and I have none emoticon . I wanted an iPad but then changed my mind. I spend my most of the time on PC & laptop. Now I feel that I don't need another one. I wanted Kindle but I download my books on iPod so I also let that go. About fitbit I want that but short in money so hopping to reward myself when I reach my goal emoticon . Now Christmas is over but still we have New Year celebration to do. This time sure with some healthy choices.. emoticon

I know what you mean.I work in a doctors office and several patients gave us candy and cookies. I also stayed under my calories for the most part but they were also empty calories. I am on vacation this week and hope to get back on track but I woke up this morning with a very sore throat and it hurts to swallow so today was not a good day. Hopefully tomorrow will be better
