I got a kitchen weigh scale for mixing flour and using British recipes. I received a oven thermometer with a remote temperature reader. (I wore out my previous one.)

I opened a women's spiritual devotional book.

One book on how to knit with its companion How To Crochet.

I got some clothes from my in-laws, money from my mom and stepdad, and Geo is getting me tickets to the movie version of Les Miserables, which means a lot to me. He doesn't like musicals, so I'm making him go with me as my present.

We had time with our kids/spouses on Saturday, which is always special. Then I got some mittens and they are much warmer than my old ones. Now I can do my walking and geocaching in warmth. We also got some new stuff to go geocaching, can't wait for that to happen. I love my new scented warming pot, mmmm.
Tonight I made a beer bread and cheddar cheese soup that I received from one of my 2nd graders. That tastes good on a snow, cold night. emoticon

So glad you had a great Christmas! I also had a good one spent with family. I got a framed Christmas picture of my niece and her twins. A gift card that I used to help pay for a Fitbit. emoticon

So very happy for you that your Christmas holiday filled you with joy. We certainly are lucky people to be joyously blessed with so much.

My gifts:
Time with my younger son. (he did all the dinner preparation, too) and gave me a Jigsaw puzzle.
Phone call from my daughter (who was working)
Phone call from my Grand daughter (who was 5 miles away, doing whatever)
...have absolutely no idea where my elder son and grand-son were...probably 7 miles away..
ah,well... if they ever need me I will hear from them, or not.
Life is too short to waste time bemoaning what you do not have. Ones time is better spent rejoicing in what is right in your world.

I had all my kids and grand kids for Christmas brunch. We exchanged gifts. I received a beautiful necklace from my hubby. We had many precious moments with the grand kids. emoticon
