Okay, my weight this morning after a week of indulgence and decreased exercise is 152. It's not fatal, but it is up. It's in the range I have been maintaining, but that is still higher than I want it to be. So my Christmas present to myself is to get back on track.
I just have to stop watching my life go by and get back to living it. I think it's been easy to not focus where I need to with all the things that have been going on: the holidaze, coming home after a year of mobilization and the readjustment that comes with it, etc.
It's the little things to start on... and so I will get started. I think limiting myself to one sweet treat will be good and make sure I eat my 5 a day. I can do these goals. And my first challenge is hard and fast... run as much as of that 5K as I can without stopping. I would like to beat my previous time, which basically means a sub 30-minute 5K... and I did manage to run the whole 3.1 miles on the treadmill last night.
A bigger goal for 2013, apart from losing the 5-10 lbs, is to run a 10K.
I also plan to blog more frequently than every 4 mos!
Update: New goals check @ 1245: I am at 4 servings of F&V, I have had 2 sweets. 5th glass of water going down.
Plan: 3.1 mile run on treadmill mimicking the race route as much as possible tonight.
