Well I had a great Christmas. I got most of my presents before Christmas but I was surprised by a gift of a Foot Locker gift card from my daughter. That was great because I really need to get some new tennis shoes.
Marlie had a great Christmas and in true Marlie style, she had us laughing over and over.
So Training Camp today was tough. I didn't eat lots of veggies like I wanted to. In fact, the only veggie I had was cilantro on my tacos! lol I did buy some green veggies to add to smoothies so that I am getting my servings of freggies going forward.
My day started way too soon. I got to bed late because I was finishing up some things. I had to get up a couple hours later to help my daughter put out the presents for Marlie. We ended up staying up and opening presents. Then I took at short nap but it wasn't enough. I am really tired tonight but I am going to get to bed soon.
I am going to call this day DONE. I am going to say goodbye to the holiday and move forward. That is really all I can do. There is no benefit to holding on to the past. I have to learn from it and move forward.
Now I am going to start the double practices. It is time to kick it up a notch! I am looking forward to not thinking about the holiday and not stressing about what will happen. It is the past and now I can fully focus on the rest of the week.
Tomorrow will be a scrimmage so I have to have my head in the game and show up prepared and with all my gear. I have planned my smoothies. I have new batteries in my glucose meter. I have my workout clothes ready. My fitbit is fully charged. My workout schedule is in place. My water goal is set. I am going to get a good night's sleep. The food cravings won't stand a change! They are going down! They have had some success against me in the last few days but tomorrow is my day!
So, I am off to the club house to get my sleep for the big game tomorrow!
