'twas the day after Christmas, and all through the house,
All people were tired, even the mouse.
Santa and the reindeer were all tuckered out,
And the presents were opened, without any doubt.
The tree was now empty,
And soon would be gone,
And after Christmas sales begin before dawn.
The feasts are now over,
Christmas weight worries are here,
And how to lose it, ourselves and the deer.
It is now the weeks limbo
between Christmas and New Years
And thinking of resolutions,
That last just a week,
Such great resolve in spirit, but the flesh is so weak,
An exercise in self deception,
And easy to break,
It is better, silly resolutions, never to take.
But rather, to do what we've been doing all along, staying on track,
and remember, stay strong!
Don't fear the holidays, but give thanks for the Spark!
And you will end up happy, happy as a lark!
