Another Christmas in the bag....

Tuesday, December 25, 2012

So, I didn't eat the best (well, I feasted, but maybe I could have made better choices) and I've barely exercised, but I worked the last 4 days too. So on the 27th the gym will be open and I can get back on track.

I got home this AM and woke up my boys. I rubbed the boy's back and tickled him but he wouldn't budge. So, I whispered, "Baby, it's Christmas." And he perked right up! "It's Christmas?"

Then he rolled over, looked at me and says, "You came back. I'm so happy you came back." And gave me a great big hug.

He opened one of his gifts from his nanny and it was shampoo. He was like- "Shampoo! So we can wash ourselves!" Thank you, Captain Obvious. LOL

We got him a set of Justice League Action Figures that comes with 7 toys and when he opened that he said "Some nice superheroes- and Cyborg!"

So yeah, it was a good morning.

I got spoiled rotten and of course my boys did a bit too. My husband less so, but it's hard without a Christmas list (at least for me it is). I think I ended up getting him mostly clothes and a video game and a graphic novel.

He got my Just Dance 4 for the Kinect!! And he almost made me cry... he got this beautiful 24 picture collage frame and my boy helped pick out photos for it and it is just such a great representation of our life and the people in it. Probably one of the sweetest things he's ever done.

My sister got me a mini-kobo... this after I bitched her out for buying herself one right before Christmas (because I was going to buy her one... the brat...)

And my dad and his wife spoiled us all rotten! My step-mom is epic! She shops for me when all the Halloween stuff is on sale after the holiday and it is so awesome to get Halloween gear at Christmas! :)

Then we feasted... and I came to work... last night on this rotation! Then 4 off! w00t!

So, Happy Holidays, whatever you celebrate! And a fantastic New Year to you all!!!!

Sounds like a good Christmas! Time to get back on track now :o). That Kinect game sounds fun. I use YourShape for Kinect all the time to exercise, and it really is wonderful.
