Merry Christmas!! I've been writing this blog daily for a over a year now. I love the changes I see in myself from last year to this year. I am more positive, more patient, and a lot happier. This is the first Christmas in years that I have not stressed about something. It actually made me wonder if I was prepared. Did I forget something? Did we have enough gifts? Did I bake enough? The answer to all of these was, yes! As I sit hear watching the Christmas parade and listening to my children, I realize I am more blessed than I ever imagined. Is it possible to be too blessed? I look at all the things wrong in my life and wonder why God blessed me so richly. There is no doubt in my mind that I am loved, blessed, and rich in all the right ways.
Thank you to all of you who follow my blessings on a regular basis. Know that I love hearing your blessings and I pray for each of your blessings and trials each day. You are important to me.
Today, there is no way to list all my blessings, but I will list a few. My list will continue. Thanks be to God for all the wonderful blessings in my life.
Here are a few of today's blessings:
1. My family, both immediate and extended. We had a great Christmas Eve together last night. I had a great phone call with my mother-in-law. I love my family. I love seeing their pictures and hearing about their adventures. They are amazing people.
2. My job, that I love so much. I have great co-workers. We laugh and enjoy our days together. My students make me proud and remind me to enjoy and appreciate each day. The parents of my students are supportive and thoughtful. They are always willing to step in and help me with projects. I could not have asked for a better job.
3. My friends. (Those I see in person and those I only see on Sparkpeople and Facebook.) They keep me grounded. They support me. They encourage me. They help me keep perspective. They are my prayer warriors when I need them. Thank you. Thank you for everything.
4. I live in America.
5. My relationship with God is growing stronger.
Please feel free to list your own blessings. Have a wonderful, loving, peaceful, and blessed Christmas.
