Training Camp - Day 2

Monday, December 24, 2012

Today was a messed up day in that the girls and I decided to go do a bit of shopping and also take Marlie to see Santa.

Okay so that part wasn't messed up but whenever I have to go somewhere, my eating plan gets all jacked up.

I got a good workout done including ST so that was terrific. I had a good breakfast so I started the day out well. My daughter decided that she wanted to get pretzels at Auntie Anne's. I have never had one before and because I hadn't had lunch, I decided to give it a try. I found that they had pretzel nuggets so I asked my son if he would share with me. So, I had a 1/2 serving of the nuggets and 1/4 of the serving of the cheese sauce. I was very proud of myself for that. Sharing food is not one of my normal things. I wasn't raised to share food! lol

I thought I was going to end the day within my calores but team junk food slipped into the end zone and score a winning touch down.

All in all, I am happy about most of the day. I had to do some serious defensive driving in a snow storm so I am sure I got my heart rate up during that! Ummm can I count that for cardio! lol

I exceeded my goal for water but drinking 12 glasses against my goal of 8 glasses! Nice score there!

I didn't get trounced in this scrimmage today by any means. If I look closely, I can see many positive things that I brought to the field. I just need to bring the heat when faced with the food cravings. Funny thing is that I wasn't even hungry. It was just there and so was I so I ate it. If I had just thought to drink water first, I would have felt full and known that I would be hurting if I ate that junk!

Well tomorrow is a new day and there may be a scrimmage. I at least know that I have practice ahead and that I need to be ready so...
I am off to the club house to get some rest!

Much love!!

I think one of the things I am liking about your training camp is all of the reflection you are doing on your practices. It's a good habit to develop. Keep it up.Win one for....YOU!

LOL, I'm not a food sharer either, if you even eyeball my plate I'm going to stab you with a fork! ;) Okay maybe not, but you have to ask me and I'll decide if it's yay or nay ha ha, no grabbers in this town! ;)

Touch down, okay so we're playing football? GOT IT! ;)

Definitely an outstanding day over all! You will get a handle on the munchie monster and you will know how to out smart him next time and you will be the one scoring the touch down! emoticon emoticon
