Down to 222.6 today. I had 3 butterscotch candies yesterday, which are my favorite, and added 70 calories, but probably slowed me down a bit. Went for a 90 minute walk earlier, and then took a nap. I slept poorly last night, probably because the Lions played.
I participated in a secret Santa @ the pizzeria. Even though I don't work there, I know most of the employees, and they are friends. I bought some other gifts for the 2 sisters, and the owner, who used to work for me, and I have known them for 7 years now. They started working there as teenagers, and the owner is only 24 years old. I was really happy with my secret Santa gift. I got the 5th book of the Game of Thrones series. I started reading it, but fell asleep. Nothing on TV tonight except for football. I am cooking up my dinner right now, and may just go to bed early afterwards.
Every so often you stop and think about your age and wonder, where did all the time go? I'm already 38, and the year is done. The reason it flies by, is you have a whole bunch of days where not much happens. Today was one of those days...lol. I woke, I walked, I ate, and therefore I am. I read a book by Jillian Michaels called Unlimited, and I realize that we tend to always have a goal in the future, but not many plans for today. The future always keep getting pushed back. I know that I dropped 60 lbs this year, and if I do the same in 2013, I will be at GW, but overall I haven't accomplished much besides staying alive.
Tomorrow is Christmas Eve, and I told the guy at the pizzeria that I would come in , and answer phones for a few hours during the rush. My brother will be there working, and the employees are like family. When I managed it, we kept a core crew by being nice to them, and the result was an excellent, well trained crew. It made life a lot easier. The current owner has continued the practice, and everyone on his crew has been there for years. I know everyone, and it wouldn't be Christmas Eve if I wasn't with them. Sitting at home by myself would just be depressing.
Anyways, I hope everyone is having a wonderful day, and you have a great holiday season.
